This Week's Watch Focus: Religious Freedom in Russia

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2009. The Russian Ministry of Justice is about to introduce strong restrictions on the activities of evangelicals in that country. Evangelicals may no longer be free to pray, and will have restrictions placed on memberships of their community, their right to preach or teach children about their faith. Remember our Russian brethren in prayer. Pray for revival throughout that land, and that the Believing Church will grow.

Acts 4:29,30, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
