This Week's Watch Focus: Bethlehem Glory

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25, 2009. Just as the shepherds who beheld the glory the first Christmas, may the present glory surround all who look for His appearing. This Christmas may we come as worshipers and servants to glorify Christ in our midst, at home and in our community and nation. Give specific thanks for every blessing of 2009. Release angels to watch over and protect our armed forces and allied soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Luke 2:9,10,13,14, “And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.’ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!’”
