Weekly Watch Focus: 21-Day Fast: Israel & the Church
FRIDAY, January 27, 2012. During the final days of our 21 day corporate fast, we want to pray for God to arise and shine on His people, natural Israel and the Church. May God’s favor rest on Israel, protecting and prospering this nation that holds a special place in His heart. We pray for angelic protection for her borders, and wise counsel for her leaders. May the nations see God’s hand move on her behalf. We also pray for God’s Church to arise in the power of His might. May awakening sweep the nations and release a mighty wave of revival with signs, wonders, and miracles following. Pray for the church local. Cover your pastors and watch leaders in intercession including their families. May the Church fulfill her destiny in our day, and may her people in every nation be a strength and ally to Israel, the vine to whom we are grafted by Jesus’ grace.
Isaiah 60:1-3, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Ephesians 5:14, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Psalms 85:6, “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”
Ex 33:15-16, “Then he said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.’”
Isaiah 62:6, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent.”
