From Germany: Watch Update

To all our friends and partners,

Thank you for your ongoing intercession and watch care for Europe and beyond! The watchmen awake on the wall of prayer, fasting, worship, and devoted advance of the gospel in the love and power of Jesus are truly the only hope for our world. Realize that according to Paul's words in Acts 17:26-28, God has prearranged that we live in these days in full knowledge of Christ, His great exchange in the cross, and the power and meaning of His resurrection!

In advance of our time with the saints here in Europe, the Lord said "These may be the best of times, they may be the worst of times, these are the times we have been given. My word for Europe is still Psalm 23. ‘The Lord is my Shepherd-King, I lack for nothing...Moreover, because I am continually walking in a Valley of Thick-Darkness, I will not fear distress. Because of You, I stand fixed and secure. Your Rod to protect me and your Staff to guide me—they utterly and completely are continually comforting me.’ (Direct translation from Hebrew).”

In the wake of the tragedy in Paris and the unfolding revelation of several other attacks planned and executed as in Mali, we all the more stand forth in the word of God. Soren Kierkegaard once said, “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” We have been given these times. We shall inhabit them fully through Christ who is all in all.

Colossians 1 states, "We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, He organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body. He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—He is supreme in the end. From beginning to end He’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is He, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in Him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of His death, His blood that poured down from the cross. You yourselves are a case study of what He does!" (The Message).

In 2005 the Lord spoke concerning coming threat of terrorism saying: "Newscasters shall not be your prophets. They shall swat ineffectively at the terror which threatens to take away your peace. The Day of Atonement is a Jubilee. Go and see what this means. Russia, Egypt, and Syria will revive the old Pact. The Hornets of God will defend His people to terrorize those who would terrify them also in America. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchmen wake in vain. The partnership of God’s praying people will defend America from HIGH TERROR alert in the Year of the Lord’s Favor...The Day of Sacrifice shall see the Intercessor stand in the gap before the day of sacrifice, and the voice of the Lord shall rise like a mist over the land to make up a wall. Go set a WATCH. Call the watchmen to their posts and let them stand day and night to cry out before the Lord. Make heaven hear the sound of prayers and God will save His people."

We understood then and understand today that every family, every church, every school, every city, every nation must have a wall of living prayer-warriors creating a line of defense in alliance and harmony with heaven.

The Spirit-filled saints here in Europe are in great expectation that now is the time for the gospel to go forth in great grace and power. Continue to pray for them!

Pray for God to raise up true shepherds, leaders at every level of society—political, social, economic, religious, family, and national—in God's appointment.

Pray that He remove hirelings and thieves and give us leaders such that it will be to God's glory to give victory over the insidious vine of terror aimed particularly at the young generation and spread through radicalized Islamist jihad.

Psalm 23 continues, “You are time after time preparing and putting in order a table of reconciliation in plain sight of my enemies. You have completely refreshed my head with oil, filled my cup of salvation to saturation. Surely Your loving-kindness only shall pursue me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

We are also praying for you,

Watch Focus One: Pray for Paris

FRIDAY, November 20, 2015 - This past Friday, seven, coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris killed one hundred and twenty-nine people and wounded more than three hundred others, many critically. Suicide bombers and gunmen attacked the Stade de France, and a sold out crowd at the Bataclan concert hall where eighty-nine people were killed in a terrible massacre. Terrorists also attacked several popular restaurants filled with Friday night crowds. Pray God’s comfort for all the families of those who were killed or wounded. May God’s peace come in those broken places.

The coordinated Paris attacks indicate that ISIS terror cells are incubating in key cities in Europe and possibly the United States and around the world. Pray that they will be exposed and dealt with by law enforcement. Bind the murderous, demonic spirit of Islamic Jihad that inspires these terrorists worldwide. Many nations, including Israel and India, face these attacks regularly. Pray that key European and U.S. government media and law enforcement figures will cease minimizing the threat of radical Islam in the name of political correctness. Pray for Europe and the United States as they deal with the current refugee and migrant crisis. May God put a shield of protection around key strategic cities in Europe and the United States from future attacks. Continue to cover the people of Paris.

2 Cor. 1:3-4, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

Ps. 91:5,6, “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday”

Ps. 125:2, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.”

Deut. 20:4, “For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

Ps. 18:37, “I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.”

Watch Focus Two: Thanksgiving to God

As a nation, we choose to give thanks at this time of year following the tradition of our founders. As believers, we should be thankful always. The Bible-model shows us that choosing thanksgiving to God in the midst of trouble leads to great deliverance as seen in the lives of Bible heroes such as Jehoshaphat (2 Chron. 20), Jonah in the whale (Jonah 2), or Paul in the Philippian jail (Acts 16). This Thanksgiving, give thanks for our Savior, for the Bible, for our nation, for our parents and grandparents, for our armed forces, for our church leaders, and for our basic provisions of food and shelter. May the God of Israel, whom the Pilgrims blessed, continue to watch over us and bless America.

Eph. 5:18-20, "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Rom. 1:21, "For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened."

Ps. 103: 1-5, "Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s."

Luke 9:16; Col. 3:15; Ps. 106:1; Ps. 105:1; Eph. 5:20; Ps. 18:48; Luke 1:71.
