Weekly Watch Focus: Shalom for Charlotte

FRIDAY, Sept. 23, 2016—Please pray for Charlotte, NC where rioting and racial turmoil have been occurring after the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, a black man, by a black police officer this week.

We pray comfort for the Scott family for their loss. But many forces of division and have in this land have taken advantage of this event to stir up turmoil and violence in this city.

Put a shield of prayer over Charlotte and many of our larger cities during these weeks before our national elections. Let us stand on the hill as watchmen and speak God’s supernatural intervention so that peace and could would return. Declare the mighty name of Jesus over Charlotte. Take authority over satanic forces of violence, hate, division, and destruction. Bind every evil voice being used to divide and hurt our land. May the Church arise in Charlotte as an instrument of peace and reconciliation. May the Lord our Healer bring healing to the Carolinas. May Father God heal the broken hearted in our land and restore Fatherhood back in our nation.

Jeremiah 29:7, “Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for it its peace you will have peace.”

Exodus 17:11-12, “And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Luke 4:18, ” “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

Isaiah 60:1-2, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”
