Weekly Watch Focus: Back to the Bible
FRIDAY, February 10, 2012. Let us pray that our families, culture, and nation return to our biblical foundations. May our nation honor the wisdom of our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and Constitution, which were framed by our founding fathers on the basis of God’s eternal laws for governing mankind. His blueprint for good government, prosperity, peace, and liberty never changes. May we embrace the ancient wisdom contained in the Bible that guides all mankind individually and corporately as a society and nation, honoring His principles in everything we do. Is. 40:8, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” 2 Tim. 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Ps 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Deut. 28:1-3, “And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” Jer. 6:16, “Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.”

Weekly Watch Focus: Middle East Turmoil
FRIDAY, February 3, 2012. War could break out if Iran decides to shut the Straits of Hormuz, which is the oil-supply pipeline for many nations in the globalized economy. American aircraft carriers and Nato's battle groups are gathered nearby. In addition, Syria is inflamed with violence and a civil uprising. The Muslim Brotherhood has the majority in the Egyptian Parliament, putting additional pressure on Israel.
Pray for these nations that are often mentioned in the Bible. May Iranians be freed from the oppressive Mullah regime. May the Lord have mercy on the people of Syria. May the Coptic Christians in Egypt be preserved and protected. May these nations know a sweeping revival leading them to knowledge of Christ!
Isaiah 19:19-25, “In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. And the Lord will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the Lord, and He will be entreated by them and heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, ‘Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.’"
Acts 2:17 "And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh."
2 Cor. 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Eph. 6:12 (Amp), “For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”
Ps. 2:1-12, “Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, ‘Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, ‘As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.’ I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, ‘You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” |

Weekly Watch Focus: 21-Day Fast: Israel & the Church
FRIDAY, January 27, 2012. During the final days of our 21 day corporate fast, we want to pray for God to arise and shine on His people, natural Israel and the Church. May God’s favor rest on Israel, protecting and prospering this nation that holds a special place in His heart. We pray for angelic protection for her borders, and wise counsel for her leaders. May the nations see God’s hand move on her behalf. We also pray for God’s Church to arise in the power of His might. May awakening sweep the nations and release a mighty wave of revival with signs, wonders, and miracles following. Pray for the church local. Cover your pastors and watch leaders in intercession including their families. May the Church fulfill her destiny in our day, and may her people in every nation be a strength and ally to Israel, the vine to whom we are grafted by Jesus’ grace.
Isaiah 60:1-3, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Ephesians 5:14, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Joel 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Psalms 85:6, “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”
Ex 33:15-16, “Then he said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.’”
Isaiah 62:6, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent.”

Weekly Watch Focus: Let us LEAP into the Year of Increase
FRIDAY, January 20, 2012.
As God gave supernatural increase for Jacob’s flocks, let us proclaim increase in anointing, favor, and prosperity for us, our children, the Church, and nation. Bind back fear, anxiety, and lack. May the Lord be pleased to heal our economy. Gen. 30:43, “Thus the man increased greatly and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.” Ps. 18:29 "For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall." Ps. 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Phil. 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Ps. 1:3, “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall notwither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” Watch Focus Part 2: Pro-LIFE We want to cry out in repentance where we have allowed abortion to run rampant in our land. All life is precious in God’s eyes, especially the most vulnerable in our midst, the children in our world. We pray for God to help us bring in the kind of revival that will bring a fundamental shift to the value systems of our nation and restore a heart of mercy toward the unborn. Psalm 139:13,15-16, "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret.Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written..." Psalm 127:3, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.” Deut. 30:19, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live;” Prov 24:11, “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.”

Weekly Watch Focus: 21-Day Fast—2012 Elections
FRIDAY, January 13, 2012.
During this second week of our corporate fast, let us continue to humbly seek God’s face on behalf of ourselves, our families, our churches, and nation. Perhaps the most crucial election in a century will take place this November. May God give us leaders who will walk in honor or our Judeo-Christian foundations and lead us on a godly path of fiscal soundness, restored prosperity, and credible friendship with Israel. Ezra 8:21,23, Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions…So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer. 1 Tim. 2:1-2, Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
Part 2: Pray for Nigeria
More than 40 Christians were killed on Christmas Day in church bombings in Nigeria. The Islamic terrorist organization Boko-Haran took credit for these killings. These Islamic terrorists have created a reign of terror for believers in Nigeria. Pray for the church in Nigeria, that they remain strong. May God send a wave of revival through that land, and may the authorities be victorious over these terrorists. Psalm 27:2-3, When the wicked come against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this will I be confident. Eph. 6:12 (Amp.), For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical opponents), but against the despotisms, against the powers, against (the master spirits who are) the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Weekly Watch Focus: This is God’s Year to Act
FRIDAY, January 6, 2012.
This is the year to enter into the Kairos moment of God’s visitation. Let us prepare our hearts before God with humbling and repentance. May we welcome the Presence of the Holy Spirit and pray for Him to sweep our nation with the next great awakening. May we declare, “Now is the set time for Kingdom advance in signs, wonders, and miracles.” Let us harmonize together in prayer and fasting for God’s divine order and favor to come to our lives, our families, the Church, and our nation. Please refer to our article, " 2012: The Year of God's Favor!" Luke 4:16-21 TM Unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written, “God's Spirit is on me; he's chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the burdened and battered free, to announce, "This is God's year to act!" He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the place was on him, intent. Then he started in, "You've just heard Scripture make history. It came true just now in this place." Is. 64:1-4 Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence—As fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil— to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence! When You did awesome things for which we did not look, You came down, the mountains shook at Your Presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.Rev. 21:10-14* And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed— on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
*As we see 12 repeated in this Scripture, it is indicating God's divine order and government.

Weekly Watch Focus: 2012—Declare the Year of God’s Favor
FRIDAY, December 30, 2011.
As we make the shift from 2011, the year of transition, to 2012, the year of God’s divine government and order, let us prophetically declare this to be the year of God’s favor over our families, the Church, and our nation. With God’s favor we are praying for the release of salvation, healing, promotion, provision, abundance, restoration, and revival. We are laying hold of all the Isaiah 61 blessings for 2012. Is. 61:1-3, AMP, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual]captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] [a]and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion--to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit--that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Ps. 5:12, “For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.”Gen. 39:3, “And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.” Gen. 6:8, “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”

Weekly Watch Focus: Christmas Glory—Release the Heavenly Knighthood
FRIDAY, December 23, 2011.
Pray that the light and the glory and the blessing of Christ Jesus shine bright, penetrating every dark corner. Ask that the angelic host, God’s heavenly knighthood, be released over our families, cities, and nation, encouraging believers everywhere, especially helping strengthen the poor and those battling infirmities. Lk 2:9-14, AMP, “And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people. For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord! And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]: you will find a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Then suddenly there appeared with the angel an army of the troops of heaven (a heavenly knighthood), praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is well pleased.”2 Kings 6:16-17 “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

Matthew 25:40, “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'" Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for European Economic Crisis
FRIDAY, December 9, 2011.
There is a high risk that the European currency, the Euro, may collapse. Nations such as Greece, Portugal, Spain, and Italy are in crisis mode financially. The results of economic collapse in these nations would generate extreme turmoil across the world, endangering the world markets and even damaging the weakened U.S. economy. Pray for the leaders of these nations, especially Germany and France, as they try to work themselves out of this financial crisis brought on by decades of profligate spending and cradle-to-grave social welfare programs. Pray for wise counsel to prevail as these nations seek measures that will bring spending under control and avert the pending economic collapse. Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, sluggard; consider her ways and be wise; who having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provides herfood in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest. Proverbs 24:3-4Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms shall befilled with all precious and pleasant riches.Proverbs 12:11He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who pursues worthless things lacks sense.

Weekly Watch Focus: Pray For Our Armed Forces
FRIDAY, December 2, 2011.
The Christmas season is especially meaningful for all families. Let us remember in prayer members of our armed forces, separated from their loved ones, serving our nation far from home. Pray for them and their families. Let us honor those who gave their all. Pray for those recovering from injuries and traumas. We bless their loved ones, asking the Holy Spirit for comfort, healing, and grace. May angels especially protect Americans and allied forces in harm’s way in Afghanistan. Ps. 91:11, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” Ps. 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Weekly Watch Focus: China—Underground Church
FRIDAY, November 25, 2011.
In a few years China is expected to be the world’s premier economic power. We hear great reports about revival and the rise of the underground Church in China. Pray for this revival. May hundreds of millions turn to Christ in this strategic nation. Pray for the pastors who serve these new believers. May God shield them from persecution. 2 Cor. 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Matt. 24:14, "And this gospel of thekingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Acts 4:29-30 29, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” Rev. 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Acts 2:18, “And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.” Joel 2:28, 29, “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
