We will not be holding the Watch Service at our Charlotte Headquarters on Aug. 8 in lieu of a city-wide revival meeting. The Watch services will resume on Friday, August 15.
Second Friday Watch of the Lord™ Prayer Focus: Pray for China
As the Olympics begin in China, pray that this would mark the time for a great move of God for the gospel to be preached across the land. Pray for all the thousands of underground churches and their pastors who are faithfully serving the Lord. May the Spirit of God move mightily throughout this land, bringing freedom and healing and touching the heart of this land with the gospel of Jesus Christ. May the Lord give ongoing revival.
2 Cor. 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”; Matt. 24:14, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."

Every Plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be Torn Up by the Roots! -- Bill Czaplinski
On Friday night during the Watch, there was an incredible spirit of prophecy present. For me, two key elements that I felt stood out were remembering the covenant we have with the LORD and the one He has made with us and secondly praying to break the chains of bondage that are holding this country prisoner. We spoke out against the spirit of antichrist and every principality and power that attempts to raise itself above the knowledge of God in this country. We remembered the reason this country was founded. The prayers were powerful and effective. Of the several Scriptures offered by Pastor Bonnie, one that stuck with me was Matthew 15:13-14:
Jesus answered them, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has NOT planted will be TORN UP by the ROOTS. Let them alone and disregard them. They are only blind guides and teachers. And if a blind man leads another blind man, both will fall into a ditch."
Over a year ago, during the Watch, the Lord gave me a passage out of Malachi 3:16 - 4:3. At that time I felt in my spirit that He was very clearly telling me to pray this for the U.S. For the longest time I read this passage as just another one designed to tell of the Lord encouraging Israel to look toward the future with hope in His promises for her.
Last night just before communion I was drawn back to this passage. I read it several times and I felt in my spirit the direction to read, of all things, the Mayflower Compact - written over 150 years before the Declaration of Independence. I felt that He told me this would bring it all together so to speak. Pay special attention to the places I offer emphasis:
In the name of God, Amen. We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland , King, Defender of the Faith. Having undertaken, for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith and Honour of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the First Colony in the Northern Parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one of another, Covenant and Combine ourselves together into a Civil Body Politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute and frame such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the Colony, unto which we promise all due submission and obedience. In witness whereof we have hereunder subscribed our names at Cape Cod, the 11th of November, in the year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King James, of England, France and Ireland the 18th, and of Scotland the 45th. 1620 AD
Now read the passage from Malachi. Notice that this passage is between those with whom the Lord made covenant and the Lord Himself. Notice this took place in His presence and listen to what the Lord declares. First He tells of the mercy He will show and then of His judgment that will come:
Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name. “They will be My people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be My own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.” The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says, “The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace. On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed—roots, branches, and all. “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. On the day when I act, you will tread upon the wicked as if they were dust under your feet,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
I believe the Lord pulled this together to tell His watchmen in America that He has not forsaken this country. Even though there seems to be the possibility of a disastrous situation lurking around the corner, even though the naysayers are trying to dash every bit of hope that we have, even though the media is telling us HOW their version of our country's history is going to unfold in coming days, He is telling us that not only does He remember the covenant that our founders made in His presence, but that He is and will continue to show His mercy to the United States in the weeks, months, and years ahead. He is saying that He remembers His promise to bless us not only for the reason that we humbled ourselves before Him before the birth of this country, but because we have blessed and continue to bless Israel. He is saying that those who would raise themselves up against Him - those in the world's system - to them the axe will be laid and they will be uprooted.
Here's a final thought to ponder... The Lord reminded Joshua of the promise He made to Moses - from "The Message" translation: “I'm giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on.” So, guided by the Lord's providential hand, the Mayflower didn't land on a sunny beach or in a harbor... it landed on the Rock.
