Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.

 Isaiah 60:1-2

On the eve of Passover, 46,000 Christians packed Washington Nationals Stadium in our nation’s capital to celebrate communion with Pope Benedict XVI. A few days later another 57,000 believers filled Yankee’s stadium in New York in an unprecedented display of the blood of our Paschal Lamb over the nation. In between those two services, an earthquake ripped through the Midwest sector of our nation. These are signs for us. As the blood was put over the opening of the doors in Egypt, the Lord is signifying that the blood is covering our nation and there is a breach in the spirit for His glory to come in as never before. We saw manifestation in Passover and the days that followed as unusual weather patterns dumped record breaking snows around the nation, whirlwinds and tornadoes tore through various regions. At the same time twenty-year prophecies of stadiums being filled came to pass as we saw thousands proclaim the power of the Lamb of God in our nation’s capital and New York City on Passover weekend. These are indicators that something has opened in the spirit. Breakthrough has come, the river of God is bubbling up, and we are seeing and experiencing the evidence of revival breaking out around the nation and in our midst. God is visiting America!

He Makes His Footsteps our Pathway

As we have been ministering in several different places over the last few weeks, the Lord has given us signs that the healing outpouring and revivals of the past are being poured out in even greater measure in our day. On several occasions we have sensed the same spirit and atmosphere that we experienced when we were with Brother Derek Prince in the Charismatic movement of the seventies. The anointing for miracles and healings, the atmosphere of glory and expectancy has been very similar to what was seen during Katherine Kuhlman’s ministry. In fact, during our Time for Healing Conference in Washington DC, a 91 year old woman was healed from chronic pain from her previously broken wrists and hip. When she came forward to give her testimony, the glory was all over her, and she was giddy with the presence of the Lord. As Mahesh prayed for her she said, “I was in Katherine Kuhlman’s choir. My husband was her head usher.” Then she just laughed and laughed in the glory. It was a sign for us. The Lord is making His footsteps of one of the greatest healing revivals since the first century our pathway into the revival He is pouring out on us today.

Almost every meeting has had one of these tokens from the Lord. As Mahesh began to give a message in a recent Healing Service in Atlanta, he felt the Lord set aside his original message, prompting him to tell some of the stories from the time that the Lord resurrected young Katshinyi from the dead in one of our evangelistic outreaches in Kinshasa, Zaire. At the end of the service, an African man came forward for prayer. After he received prayer, he said, “I want you to know that everything you said tonight was exactly as it happened. I was there in Kinshasa when Katshinyi was resurrected.” The African man was from the neighboring nation of Angola. When news arrived of the miracles and power of God touching the people in the meetings in Zaire, this man came to be a part of the outpouring. Now, 23 years later, this man’s presence is a sign of the resurgence of resurrection power for mighty signs, wonders and miracles in these days.

Our first meeting in the Washington DC area was at an Anglican church, a sister church of those who are refusing to compromise the Apostolic Word of Scripture to follow the humanistic trend of their former denomination. While their decision is costing them much to remain to the true foundations of the Church, God’s presence is visiting them, and they are being vindicated with genuine revival among their constituency as they stand firm in the face of challenge. When we walked in both Bonnie and I felt like we were connected to this church like family, and we could feel the spirit of revival ready to break loose in that faithful group of believers gathered there. We sensed the same atmosphere that we experienced with Derek Prince in the Charismatic outpouring. We could feel their hearts drawing down the rain of heaven, and the Lord responded in a mighty way. As the glory filled the atmosphere, Mahesh began to get words of knowledge of such specificity that not only did the Lord reveal the conditions that He wanted to heal, but He was revealing the names of the people who had them. What was originally planned to be a small gathering with a time of ministry and book signing turned into a healing meeting in a packed church that was pressing into the anointing as a body. At the end, we found out that the pastor of the church was originally from the church in New Zealand that invited Brother Derek Prince to come and teach every year for much of the time that we served with him. Again, decades later, the Lord is putting His finger on the signposts of the past for what He is blessing in our day.

Healing Glory

We are experiencing a new intensity of the healing glory in our meetings. Mahesh felt it in Atlanta. Bonnie experienced it in Montana, where debilitating conditions that had been present for decades were instantaneously healed. A woman with a withered hand for over 20 years came forward, and the paralysis left, and she was able to use her hand again. While there, she was invited to minister at Cowboy Church where she witnessed the Spirit of God is moving in the American West, in the old vestiges of the American Cowboy culture. This is one of the essential pieces of the heart of America being revived to her spiritual destiny. Another woman with a crushed ankle from an accident came forward, and her bones were realigns and reformed before her very eyes. In Washington D.C. the anointing for healing, words of knowledge and deliverance was so thick that many people were being healed in their seats just as we worshiped and began to release words of knowledge for healing. Bone spurs, arthritis, spinal injuries and chronic pain disappeared in the healing glory. The Lord began to release not only the conditions, but the names of the people with specific healing needs. One of the names Mahesh heard in the glory was “See You.” As soon as he said her name, the Lord began to show him that it was a woman who was suffering from breast cancer and had just completed radiation. Amazingly, there was a woman in the meeting that night with the name, “Hsieh-Yu,” (pronounced See You). She had literally just finished radiation therapy and was sitting in the third row of the meeting. She was in pain in several areas of her body and had come specifically to reach out to the Lord for her healing. The Lord in His love and mercy was touching this woman’s heart by calling her out even by name so that she would know He was watching over her. This is what she wrote in her testimony, “Tonight I was surprised when Pastor Mahesh called my first name – it was surely from God. When he prayed over me, I smelled the fragrance of roses and felt anointing oil on my head and heat in my body.” She reported that before that evening the pain in her body was so great that she was unable to sleep, but in the meeting all her pain left her completely. Another woman Mahesh called out was an Ethiopian woman. He saw the Lord touching her and then the Lord bringing healing for her and her family that was in Ethiopia. We were told later that her sister had flown to the U.S. specifically to receive treatment for retinal disease that week. When she went to her appointment with the specialist the next morning, the doctor looked puzzled and said, “I can’t find anything wrong with your eyes.” He called in other doctors, and finally, because of the original diagnoses and the fact that she had flown in from Ethiopia, he sent her to another specialist to check her because nothing was wrong with her retinas!” Praise the Lord.

As the Lord was pouring out His glory in the meetings, the entire healing team went to another level of working together with one another and the Lord to usher in miracles. Our whole team took away a fresh sense of awe and the power and wonders of God and His mercy as He stretched forth His hand to heal.

On the first night of the conference we sensed the Lord wanted to heal cancer the next evening. Mahesh announced it during the meeting, and the next day, there were many who came with advanced cancer because they had heard the report of the healing glory being poured out. The hunger and faith in the hearts of these precious people was wonderful. One woman who was there for healing from cancer heard a word of knowledge for hip conditions. Her cancer had metastasized to her hip, and with much difficulty and effort she stood to claim the miracle. Our healing team reported that she stood for the entire time that Mahesh was speaking – pressing into the healing glory to receive the word that was spoken. By the end of the meeting, she was able to not only stand, but she was able to walk with the aid of her walker all the way to the front of the auditorium to testify of what the Lord had done for her. This was just the first evidence of the greater work of healing the Lord is doing in her body. Many others who came for prayer for cancer reported that the pain was gone, bones and joints that were weak and eaten with cancer were able to move and that they were experiencing the tangible presence of the Lord in their bodies.

Nothing is too difficult for the Lord of Glory. In His presence, every cancer, every disease, every condition and every curse has to bow. On the third night, the Lord led Mahesh to pray for children with Autism. There was a family there who had come all the way from India for a touch for their autistic son. He also received two separate words of knowledge that someone suffering from AIDS was being healed. This again was a token for us, as we saw many healed from AIDS during out outreaches in different regions of Africa. The Lord is opening the heavens over America for His power to confront the powers of darkness in an even greater measure than we experienced in some of the darkest regions of the third world.

King of Glory

Across America we are seeing the evidence that the King of Glory is being revealed in a fresh way through a mighty wave of healing and delivering power. We believe it is just the first taste of what is to come.

"The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing...They shall see the glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God." Isaiah 35:1-2

The great healing evangelist Smith Wigglesworth prophesied in the last century, “I see it! I see a revival coming to planet earth as never before. There will be untold multitudes that will be saved. No man will say, ‘So many and so many,’ because no man will be able to count those who will come to Jesus Christ. I see it. The dead will be raise, the arthritic healed. No disease will be able to stand before God’s people, and it will spread all over the world. It will be a worldwide thrust of God’s power and a thrust of God’s anointing. I will not see it, but you will.” Revival is more than a series of meetings, revival is cultivated and carried in the hearts of all who yield to the power and presence of the Holy Spirit to transform us to be carriers of His Glory wherever we go. Revival is not meant to be a temporary state of being. God is looking for revival people who will open their hearts to the King of Glory, and create a permanent dwelling for perpetual revival to touch the earth. You are called to carry revival! Step into His glory and let the river flow in your heart, your family, your city and your nation.
