This is a word of encouragement for America as a nation, for the church in America and especially for watchmen in America in 2007. For all of the faithful watchmen that have been praying for God’s destiny in this nation, this is the Lord’s encouragement in 2007.
His Counsel Shall Stand:
The past few days, the Lord has given me this Scripture from
Isaiah 46:9-10, “Remember the former things of old, for I am God,
and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,
declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things
that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will
do all My pleasure.’”
This is the word of the Lord, a word of encouragement for America
concerning the purposes and intention of God. His counsel shall
stand and He will do all His good pleasure. We bless America in the
pleasure and purpose of God. But it is the end of this chapter that
God reveals His purpose and gives us our primary prayer: “I bring My
righteousness near, it should not be far off; My salvation shall not
linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, for Israel My glory.”
This is our focus as we pray for America -- that she will stand for
the purpose of God for Israel His glory. We pray for godly
leadership, as we prayed in our last fast, “God give us leaders that
it would be for Your glory to give us the victory through them.” We
continue to pray for our leadership, for revival in America and that
politically as a nation we will remain a faithful friend to the
Jewish people and to Israel.
Choose or Lose:
I felt that the Lord gave me a specific word for the Church and for
Christians in America. It was simply choose or lose. I saw that in 2007
the Lord is coming with His winnowing fork that separates the wheat from
chaff as the wind comes and carries the chaff away and the grain
remains. I saw 2007 as a year of separating wheat from chaff according
to the temperature of individuals and congregations. Remember Jesus said
that because you were neither hot nor cold, I will spew you out. Through
the spirit of humanism there is much lukewarmness and moral relativism
preaching another gospel in much of what is being called contemporary
Christianity. But in 2007 we will see a separation of wheat from chaff
like we’ve never seen before.
This is the world of prophecy and exhortation for all Christians.
Revival will continue. It will bring division over the thinking of the
way of the flesh and humanism that is being called Christianity and what
the Bible preaches and teaches. There will be division between those who
embrace the one and those who choose to live by the word of God. But for
many denominations I saw revival: Assemblies of God, Episcopalian,
Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian… But this revival, be very
sure, is not going to give life to dead things. I will cause the dead
and the living to be clearly discernable from one another. It will be
over the issue of the Holy Spirit – choosing the anointing or choosing
the way of humanism.
Christians who are in a denomination or church setting that doesn’t
receive the Holy Spirit or the things of the Spirit, until this time the
Lord may have appointed you to be faithful there and praying, but I say
that in 2007 it is the year of choosing. For Christians in places that
have not received revival, refusing revival and rejecting the word of
God and the things of the Spirit of God, it is time to get out and find
a place that embraces the fullness of the Word of God and the things of
His Spirit. Choose or lose.
A remnant is sufficient:
The Lord gave me a sure word to the watchmen, disciples who have been faithful to fast and to pray, believing God for goodness and for His purpose in this nation and the church. The Lord says a remnant of those who are revived in my glory is sufficient for a city and sufficient for a nation. This is a scriptural principle so it’s incumbent upon us that we continue to be faithful in the things in the Lord.
We thank the Lord and we bless America in 2007 for His glory, Israel.
