Weekly Watch Focus: Pentecost 2018—Welcome, Holy Spirit
Friday, May 18, 2018—These truly are times of restoration as the most powerful nation in the world moved its embassy to Jerusalem on the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth. This indicates that we are in a great period of prophetic restoration. As we see from the beginning of the last century through today, what happens in Israel parallels what happens in the Lord’s believing church. As the first immigrants came to Israel, the Church experienced a mighty wave of awakening from Azusa and revivals to follow. Following Israel’s rebirth in 1948, a mighty wave of salvation and healing flowed through the Church. After Jerusalem was recaptured by Israel in 1967, the Charismatic movement was birthed. Therefore, this Pentecost 2018 is of prophetic significance. Let’s pray that once again the Lord will pour out the mightiest wave of Holy Spirit revival glory. May awakening come to America and all nations hungry to see the Church revived.
In that context, we cry, “Holy Spirit, awaken Your Church and awaken the nations. Give us a great harvest of souls!” Catch the next wave of mighty glory awakening and restoration. Welcome a fresh Pentecostal revival with signs, wonders and miracles so that the Gospel would be proclaimed throughout the world in power. May we, our children and grandchildren be refreshed in the Holy Spirit and serve the God of Israel.

Acts 2:1-4, “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Acts 2:17-18, 38-39, “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.’ Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.’”
Acts 10:44-46, “While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.”
Zechariah 10:1, “Ask rain from the LORD in the season of the spring rain, from the LORD who makes the storm clouds, and He will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.”
Exodus 19:16,19, “On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God…The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.”
